Hung up the hat once this deck was completed. Three days of beautiful weather gave us the demo of an old 4′ x 5′ deck and the installation of a new 12′ x 22′ deck that was ready for the Memorial Day.

Got the handrail and spindles up really quick. The deck was finished on May 25th, was just in time for the new owners to have a Memorial Day party on it.

Nothing is better than nice tight corners. Pencil line does make it look like there is a gap but fear not it doesn’t get tighter than that. Deck was completed a couple of days before June started.

Doing the spindles and handrail the right way is very important. Ones that aren’t bolted and installed correctly just won’t last. Next year I’m sure we’ll be out to seal this beautiful deck.

Once all the 4×4’s were done is was off to the races to do the handrail and spindles. Owner didn’t request any fancy spindle design on this one as we have had done for others.
